My husband and I had not seen any of Gavin and Stacey series whilst on t.v so decided to buy the box set. I think it only took 4 evenings to watch all the episodes as it was so funny and you had to know what happened next.

Great set inc the Christmas Special. Good Value and Highly Recommend. The extras show the 2 writers (Smithy & Ness) which is also interesting to watch as well as a few outtakes.

This is a box set must have! I guarantee once you have watched it through, you could quite easily go back to disc 1 and start again!
All the characters are complete gems in their own right, from Uncle Bryn thru to Staceys' insatiable neighbour Doris. Larry Lamb (Gavins dad, Mick) is a revelation, being such a likeable character, far removed from his alter ego, Archie, in Eastenders.
The writing, acting, humour and storylines are deserved award winners, being one of the best sit-coms since the likes of Fawlty Towers. There is something for all the family there, with some of the "over 18" stuff being so subtle, it would pass over youngsters heads, but making us chuckle at the same time.
Cordon and Jones have written a masterpiece here, that will go down as British comedy Gold!
Get yourself a set,,, it's well lush!!!

Great value for 6 DVD's. Would definitly reccommend, Gavin and Stacey is brilliant and funny to watch! Perfect for a night in.

what a fantastic purchase - whole of Gavin and Stacey in one box set - hilariously funny, impossible to just watch one episode at a time. for those who fancy a night in with some down to earth comedy this is the box set for you. Cannot think of a negative thing to say about this - price very reasonable, worth every penny

i ordered this box set and have had to send it back once because it didnt work in my DVD player. I
sent it back and recieved another one very prompt which i was happy about. however, when i started to watch them through, i got to the disc for series three and this again didnt work in my DVD player. i havent sent this one back to you for fear of a 3rd one having the same problem
